What really helped me was listening to music in Spanish that I really liked and translating the songs myself. I would listen to the songs over and over again and write out the words phonetically, and bug my Spanish speaking family members to tell me what the words were and what they meant. Something about the repetition and what not, worked really fast.

try to find a friend or associations that give free classes. or you can always watch dora the explorer. she teaches some little things. but the best way to learn is to find a friend that might want to learn english and you both get the benefits for free

Try listening spanish movies and reading children books and watch spanish television.

when you get the disc you need to get beginning spanish one

start slow , it helps if you have some one your family who speaks it very well . like we do . our daughter in law is from spain we have a blast picking it up from her .
