Is this possible? (period question)?

If you just finished with your period, then 3 days pass and you take a birth control pill for your first and only time, is it possible that the next week you get your period?

absolutely. They say that even your first month of taking the pill it isn't very effective and to use another alternative form of birth control. Even if while taking the pill, you skip or miss a pill that for the next 4-7 days to use alternative forms of birth control. HOpe this helps.

Umm what do you mean by taking "a" pill for the first and only time? You are supposed to take them every day, starting on the first day of your period.

They don't work by just taking one.

  • yes it is possible especially if you are very sensitive to birth control and even more so if it is a higher dose B/C pill. It isn't common, but yes it is possible...and probably is what's going on. you should call your dr. and ask his nurse..
