First of all u have to know if this girl has a boyfriend now? if she do, you have to looking for another girl. But if she doesn't, you may be able to try to connect her by calling her and meet her as much as possible. Beside this you should try to make her remember what two of you use to do in the past ( find positive way ). Then if you think your relationship is good enough, so you can tell her your real feeling, what you think to her right now.

tell her youve been very busy for the past few months and you know that shes been missing you a lot. thats why, now that you have time, you want to make up with her.
dont tell her you are interested in her. make it appear that shes the one who needs you most. make your conversation very short and tell her that you are going to this or that place and shes welcome if she would like to go with you. thats it
