Lindsay's long jail stay...?

So Lindsay Lohan got 2 more minutes in jail for DUI than did Nicole Richie. She was released early due to "jail overcrowding". Wonder how many non-famous inmates have been released after just a few minutes due to overcrowding? I hope she has learned her lesson. The next time her sentence could actually be 85 minutes, heaven forbid!

Update:

Nicole Richie stayed in jail 82 minutes, Lindsay Lohan 'suffered' in jail 84 minutes. Paris' sentence must've seemed like life compared to her friends' sentences.

give them the same amount of time listening to the heartbreak of drunk driving victims families..listening to their stories will do far more good than prison ever will

Hi Char. I agree that if famous people are jailed, they should get in line for early release just like the rest of them. I would like to know how the other inmates feel about that.

Paris Hilton was sentenced to 45 days, but she left in 23. Lindsay Lohan has been sentenced to 90 days.

Life's unfair. I don't think Paris should have gotten out either. Just because they are rich and famous doesn't mean they're not like other normal human beings, who actually have to do time for their crimes. Society is corrupted. End of story.

I think they should have another punishment for celebrity, if it always about overcrowding that they can only stay in jail for couple minutes, then they would never learn their lesson.

But these people are SPECIAL. They are rich and famous and shouldn't have to answer for their crimes the way we common folk do.

Where do you get this insane idea that all American citizens should receive equal treatment under the law? What are you, some kind of conservative?

Money + fame = jail time

well you know I hate to say it but there's a lesson in this. if you want to get away with ANYTHING, be famous. you don't even have to be hot, just be famous. pains me to see society like this.

Hey, it's not her fault she is beautiful, famous, and addicted to to drugs....
