Diversity in the Workplace?

I come from a mental health perspective and diversity in the workplace cannot include us as we are seen in discrete terms of either well or unwell rather than in terms of what we can do and how long we can do it for and how much support we would need.

In order to let us in and see something positive in what we have to offer; society and capitalism would have to change to a degree that doesn't at the moment seem possible.

there is such a huge defense against mental health issues being raised despite the fact that 1 in 4 of us at any time are in mental distress and suffering.

We are such a xenophobic society I cannot see that diversity issues will ever be addressed.

We continue to need outsiders in order to prove the norm that is being clung to - for sanity.

the only variety it particularly is effective interior the area of work is a variety of skills. Having some politically top combination of folk does no longer something to advance issues. quite having distinctive those that aren't getting alongside is a definite recipe for hardship. No variety should not be legally mandated. the government could desire to get out of coping with each and every niggling element of our lives and concentration on the few issues it would be doing like national protection.

This is America, Look around - we are diverse - everywhere ! You are from this country aren't you? This country is more diverse than ever, have you been to a college campus lately? Even at high schools. In my job there is diversity - where are you speaking about?

Diversity is only an issue because people like you make it an issue. If you would relax and mind your own business instead of worrying about everyone else, others could relax too, and get along.

We don't need to increase it.
