TODAY Show Snake Story resolution?

A few years ago, the Today show featured a story about a woman who found an entire molted snake skin in her studio apartment in Manhattan. She asked experts about it, and they told her to put flour or cornstarch on the floor to see if any tracks showed up. Sure enough, she did, and when she got home from work, there were SNAKE TRACKS in her apartment!!

Does anyone know what the follow-up was? Did they find the snake in her apartment? Did they discover how it got in there in the first place?

I never heard about that but my scream would be around the world if it happened to me! I would seriously move out.

This is not an uncommon occurrence. Snakes are better escape artist then Harry Houdini, so many snake owners find themselves looking all over the place for their lost pet. Anything from little corn snakes to big pythons have escaped. They tend to wander in warm places, and favorite spots can be under a fridge, or other appliances. My one kingsnake disappeared for 3 weeks till I found him one day.
