What is better ipod or mp3 ?

i would say the ipod because the sound is alot better and itunes has alot more stuff than what other marketplaces give you like music, music videos,tv episodes,movies,podcasts, and ringtones. choose ipod its a better deal!

Definitely MP3. I have the Samsung YK5... so does my husband and we just bought it for our 10 yr. old niece for Christmas. It is slim, very easy to use, nice looking, and best of all it has built in external speakers so you can listen to it w/out headphones (and w/out using a docking station or anything). You can of course use headphones if you want to listen to it w/out disrupting anyone. It also has an alarm, can hold pictures, has FM radio, ... I would go w/no other.

i have a creative zen micro, for about over 2 years now, i had problems with the firmware and what not, even though its still working. i think an ipod would be better, everyone has one, there are tons of accesories for them, and you can share music easily if all your friends have ipods. if i could go back in time, i wouldve got an ipod instead of an mp3 player.

I think mp3 is easier to handle if you use windows.

iPods hold MP3s and convert other formats to a proprietary "lossless" format. I have an iPod and would recommend it!
