What is it you have to wait till dark to do, that you can't do in the light?

To catch lighting bugs

Star gaze. It is so fun out here in the middle of nowhere. No city lights. The comets are great to see. Though I don't know what all the astrological formations are, I just like to look at the stars.

When my kids were little we would make a bonfire and have hotdogs and marshmallows in the summer after dark.

Smack into the wall trying to get to the bathroom. Hear the neighbor's dog barking all night long while I'm trying to sleep. Watch the bats fly out from the attic. See the clouds scud across the yellow face of the moon. Lots of cool things that make me glad there's a difference between night and day.

At Christmas time go look at lights, work at night, tell spooky stories, snipe hunting, go to the drive in, go to haunted houses and trails hayrides are the best at night and other things. There is alot of things you have to wait till dark to do.

Look at the dark - you cannot do that in the light.

Fireworks

You can certainly look at the stars in the daytime. But probably only one. Old Sol. Just use eye protection.

Undress

I enjoy riding my bike all the time, but for me to really get the freedom and the serenity takes riding at night.

Like the song says; "the night time is the right time".
