Well, the character is pretty quirky. And it appeals to every teenager's fantasy of having a double-life (ordinary teenager by day/ famous celebrity by night, or something like that). And she's not packaged as some glamorous gal which is good because it makes her charming, more approachable, and a good role-model, I guess.

I love this question. That's what I always wanted to ask. I don't really know why her show is such a hit, her facial expressions suck.

Nothing. The characters are a little annoying, and most of the humor in it is stupid.
