2002 dodge neon trouble code?

if it is making a whining noise, the most likely cause was a collapsed filter has starved the front pump of oil, ruining the pump, convertor, and sending the debris everywhere. take it to a good trans shop or a dealer, you most likely will have to rebuild it.

that's a transmission code for it that may mean that is has a bad shift solenoid on it that would cause it not to shift right,usually when you get this code you have to replace the shift solenoid on the transmission that will correct the hard shift for it,take it by a tranny shop they can do this in a little while and they can also test drive it to confirm the problem.good luck on it.

Recheck on-off cycle and see what you get. It should tell you if it is right.
