it will look better for you and your friend, if you let the cops know what happened, once you start hiding things, it makes things more suspecious.. your best bet is to turn it in.. and it was an accident....

I would take the gun and turn it in to the police. I would tell them what happen. I am sure that the truth from you will be the best thing to do. Please be very carefull when you are around guns.

turn it in,, to the police and tell them,, if you don't they will get you for disposing of evidence... why would you have an illegal one, when you can get one legally....
