try using the help... I'd have to look at it. I will when I get home then will post if i figure it out.
hi Sorry okay I just looked. I have adobe premiere pro but should be similar. when you are in the monitor there should be a small arrow that you can click on the upper right side. click that. Then select playback settings. at the top it should say playback video on dv hardware. deselect that box and it shouldn't play back. if you are having an issue finding playback settings go to help and type in playback settings.
