How do you report some one for sending you a fraudulant check?
I received a check for almost $3,000.00. Said I had won 3rd prize of $50,000.00. This is a scam. Is there anyway to nail these thieves?

Call your state Attorney General if you're in the USA.
Ask a manager at your bank what to do. Since you're going to THEM, you shouldn't have any penalties if the check bounces.

If it's a cheque made out to you,bank it and spend it.
I would open a new account and bank it in it just in case they try something.
