How long does a bee sting last/hurt?

I got stung yesterday around 4:00 and it still hurts this morning. I did not have anything to put on it. I am just wondering how long it will continue to hurt. And the stinger is not in my finger.

    clean a penny n put it on for 15 min

    The venom has already soaked in. So a mud pack or calamine lotion is out . You're just gonna have to sweat it out honey. The stinger must've hit a nerve. It'll quit before the end of the day though. Especially if the swelling is already down.

    if you get the stinger out it'll only be a few hours. If it breaks in the skin you gonna be in some pain until it's pushed out.

    Put some calamine lotion on the area around the sting. It will take about 3-5 days for the itch to stop

    so far.....I just got stung...... twice.. and still feels like someone has lit a match.... and two hrs so far!!
