Why do some guys rather play video games instead of spending time with the person they suppose to love?

i guess it is different for most people, i personally play because i like the racing games and it clears my mind for a bit great stress reliever. Some times the person you love is the reason for the stress but yea stop complaining unless its an addiction to video game

Guys don't care to spend time. They don't like having deep conversation about relationships, and most of them don't care if they ever celebrated another anniversary with candle light dinners. Because since that is what we girls want, we just assume that is what guys should want either. Well, they don't. They would have been perfectly fine coming home, watch tv, eat, watch more tv, do the wild thing, go to sleep. Don't ask me why, because I don't know. I do know most guys are like that and it does not mean they don't love us. They do, and they show it by working hard to provide and being faithful. The other stuff is just for decoration purposes. If you want to spend time with him, why don't you play video games with him? It's not always about you.

lol, I feel your pain. I guess that's something we all have to deal with. I agree with the guy earlier though, guys have to deal with our love for shoes and clothes (or other things depending on the girl). We all have our hobbies, and guys can't spend time with us every minute of every day. Give him room, let him be a video game nerd. I think it's kinda cute :)

Everyone needs some space. But if he would always rather play games then hang out with you, there's a problem.

Yeah, it's their hobby I supposed. I still play video games, nothing wrong with that. only in rare occasion but mostly I'm too busy to do anything.

jdt kinda has a point. trý to make sure your guy knows that he can play video games but maybe sometimes just you guys can hang out...with the games put away. hey....why don't you try playing too!

you know what i think that if you really loved him you would be playing video games with him instead of complaining about it.

ha! my hubby does this a lot too, but i dont mind, its a hobby he likes(could have a lot worse hobbies), and i like the alone time it gives me, maybe find your own hobby, or try to play a game with him, i did that once and we had a good time laughing at my inability to play!

I guess thats their hobby like ours is shopping and doing all that kind of stuff
