JW: simple question .. why do you think there are so many "Anti JW' on this site.. and why are most EX JW
Its a simple concept .. I do not know of any Anti Baptists, or
even Anti Seventh day ( your own roots I might add ) .. and before you answer "the Devil Made them do it" or my personal favourite "We are persecuted like Jesus" Seriously ask yourself the question.. why is there so many people trying to get you to think differently.. and moreover .. and why do they do nothing to use your own publications to do so .. .. why does your own history cause you fear when someone mentions it
sorry that was to read "Do nothing more than use your history and lit to do so" .. makes much more sense this way :)
line Dancer ( this is my own opinion ) but if the WT&TS: is truly god's representive on earth .. then dont you think you might of figured out some of these truths a little sooner
it took till the 40s to figure out that christ wasnt born in december.. as an 8 yr old reading the bible I pick up that little inconsistancy on my own .. I would of thought that God would of picked an organization slightly smarter than an 8 year old
LineDancer. I personally know of NO Christian religion that "Teaches" that christ was born in December .. they simply Celibrate it then
.. Please note the difference
and LD "Do you still blame those of ancient times for thinking that the earth was flat" yes absolutly esp the purscution of those who had shown the evidence to the contrary ... JUST like I blame you for your "Beliefs" on blood when faced with overwilming evidence to the contrary .. as well as your absolutly rediculas belief in Noah, Adam and Eve.. .. I question the sanity, and intelligence of any one who believes that tripe

Most say that they are ex- we do not just assume.
The Devil does not make anyone do anything- we make our own choices in life.
Many pick on our religion out of ignorance, being misled by the ex-es and others.
What exactly do we do wrong to our neighbour? We are the most peaceful and law-abiding of citizens, but everywhere we are picked on. We are, in comparison, a minority- powerful people have tried to wipe us out but have failed. Jesus warned that his true followers would be hated on account of his name.
Many a time, the publications quoted here are quoted in chunks, as if the asker had a tattered copy of the watchtower.
".........." is supposed to mean you've skipped a few words, but when you compare such texts to the original, you find they've skipped PARAGRAPHS!!! Of course, that will change the context of any document!
We do not deny our history, mistakes were made and corrected, That shows humility and is a plus, not a minus on our part.
Remember that the first members of the modern day group that later became JWs were individuals from Christendom. They still had some beliefs that they carried with them, these had to be dropped as they studied the Bible more.
The fact that they had the courage to relinquish previously cherished beliefs as they learnt the truth makes me proud of them!!!

specific, i understand a woman who has been avoided via her JW brother for the final 30 years( they stay in an identical small city) because of the fact she grew to become a Catholic Trinitarian Christian, grew to become into baptized and shown as such ( in the call of God the Trinity) and married a Catholic and raised her daughter as a Catholic in the States , i do no longer think of that people who're avoided via the JWs , Amish or different 'sects' can document a effectual classification action in shape because of the fact shunning could be considered a suitable of any religious team to suitable standards for club with slicing off thoroughly an excommunicated or disfellowshiped from any ( even social or familial) touch as area of the call for for persisted club in the team with good status considered via the governors of the team

"Why does your own history cause you fear when someone mentions it?"
Fear? Not hardly! I am proud of our history. It shows how far we have progressed. In the early days, we believed the cross was a true Christian symbol. We used to celebrate holidays like Christmas, Easter, and Halloween. We used to participate in war as non-combatant personell. But after doing considerable Bible research, we found that we had to adjust our way of thinking so that it would be more in line with the Bible.
On the other hand, most "Christian" clergymen KNOW that the holidays are pagan-based, and that the cross is a pagan symbol that predates Christianity by thousands of years. But do they change their stance on paganism? No.
We do not fear our history. We have learned from it. In fact, we are still learning from it. Watchtower libraries are open so that anyone can see how we admit that we were in error about a number of things, and how we made needed changes.
Above, Nina said: "We care about JWs. We are more like anti-Watchtower. They do not believe in hell, but it is a real place and Jesus is Living God."
This is a typical response from an anti-Witness who has misconceptions about us. Do we disbelieve in the existence of hell? No. Does not the Bible (KJB) say at Acts 2:31 that Jesus was in hell? Did not Job ask to go to hell to escape the hard times he was experiencing? (Job 14:13. Dy)
Nina also calls Jesus the living God. Is that true? At John 17:3, Jesus clearly called his Father the ONLY true God.
Anti-Witnesses will continue to say negative things about us. It is to be expected.
Jehovah does not reveal the whole truth all at once; he does it gradually. At least we admitted when we were wrong, and so we adjusted our views. What's wrong with that? The scholars of a number of religions admit that they observe false doctrines. But those religions still practice such falsehoods.
Jesus' followers wanted to learn more about Jesus than he wa willing to share with them at the moment. He told them at Johnn 16:12: "“I have many things yet to say to you, but you are not able to bear them at present."
The human experience involves learning and change. Do you still blame those of ancient times for thinking that the earth was flat?
"It took till the 40s to figure out that christ wasnt born in december.. as an 8 yr old reading the bible I pick up that little inconsistancy on my own."
I find that statement difficult to believe. If what you say is true, what do you think of all the "Christian" religions that are still teaching that Christ was born in December? Would you consider them smart? It is apparent that you, as an older person, can't see that evolution goes against the Bible. I wonder what 8-year-olds today who have some Bible knowledge think of that.

To be honest with you. That is a question that only those ones will have to answer.
I cannot answer for someone else, however
as for me. The Witnesses have always been able to answer any and all question that I had when first coming into the truth. Not by there own personal understanding , by showing me in the bible the answers to the questions I had asked

As a former JW, I'm not Anti-JW. I still have some family members who are part of that organization, and I never tell them to leave or ridicule their beliefs; that's because I respect their right to believe what they want. However, I will speak up if they're lying about something or if they're misrepresenting a situation. I will also answer questions about their beliefs because I was one of them for almost 20 years.

my self I think it mostly comes down to celebrating holidays and things like that. It sucks big time for people to not get stuff every year on Christmas and their birthdays..
Other then that the JW religion is about the same as EVERYONE Else's..

I KNOW the JW's. The ones I know are VERY nice and did not talk or behave like SOME of them here in Y/A. That's why I don't believe ALL of them are who claim they are "I am a JW." Anyway my friend was faithful to the end in her belief. That sure makes her family happy. I guess they don't care 'cause "We will be with her after Armageddon." And then they tell me "She (my friend) will be sad and disappointed if she don't see you. Oh, please think about it." Oh well, whatever will be, will be.

SO let me see if I am understanding your reasoning
According to your reasoning an organization is false if their members leave it and speak their "true" , so God´s organization is false also in fact more than our organization cause the third part became evil and the third part of us are not lefting the organization.
Why do you think the third part of the angel in heaven became evil? cause the organization in heaven is false or the angels became sinners?
according to your reasoning , God ´s organization is evil, congratulations you doom yourself suggesting that God almighty is evil.....
Unless you admit that your premise is false? which one you prefer?
and yes We are persecuted like Jesus cause What I see in this forum is that the smaller group of Jehovah´s witnesses receive pressure from everybody in proportion more than muslims, would you like to check my statement?

Most theists here are anti-whatever-religion-is-not-their-own. It's how theism works. Discredit. Defame. Out-and-out lie. Do whatever it takes to mock and belittle another faith to elevate themselves. I'm sure there are JWs that are anti-Muslim and anti-Christianity and anti-Judaism.

Baptists Catholics Lutherans....all have their flaws.....None of these religions does the damage to followers as the Witnesses do.
Death due to a false blood edict.
Ruination of families
Loss of salvation, due to denying The Essence of God
Followers of Man
Major brainwashing and mind control.
Protecting criminals and child sexual abusers
Keeping people from further education due to the ridiculous notion that they know that Armageddon is coming in this lifetime.
I could go on and on....I have been exposed personally to all of these situations. It took me 18 years after leaving the Witnesses to believe that God wouldn't smite me fro walking into a Christian Church.
You se here that there are many Non practicing Witnesses that are afraid to examine the claims that are made against their Governing body, and thus are spiritually blocked, and can not progress to salvation through Grace.
OH and I forgot the largest problem...Works....There is no absolute salvation for the Witnesses. they have to continue in Works, and hope that God will have mercy on them..
