Isn't it about time that poor Jew was taken off the cross?
Since the Romans threw the Jews out of their own country every generation has suffered persecution especially in Europe Yet cristianity kneel down to a jew & pray for forgiveness, Is this the reason for the persecution.? All they want is to live in Peace in their OWN country from which force of arms evicted them!

Sorry - completely nonplussed as to how you can connect worshipping a Jew to causes of persecution. The question makes no sense. Israel is now largely supported by the Christian community. You're either drunk or I'm missing something.

I think the problem is that the Jews were gone from "their country" for a long, long time and the people who were living there in the 1940's were not the people who had displaced them and had been living in Palestine for generations upon generations - enough to certainly feel that country was theirs. The Jews do have a religious text to back up their claim, of course, but is that the reason to commit genocide against an entire existing population in the 20th century? Aren't we out of the Middle Ages where any group of Europeans can trot on over and work their religious will on the people of the Middle East? (I will include George Bush in that).
When you say "All they want is to live in Peace in their OWN country from which force of arms evicted them" I assume you are talking about the Palestinians? No? It is strange how one group of eastern Europeans can be given an existing and very contemporary country to have their will with and have that on-going takeover backed by the most powerful military on Earth, so that they can treat another innocent group of people (not the people who removed them or even first occupied it after their departure) in exactly the same way they were? The forced evictions? The interment camps? Just hand the Zionists a match and they'd look pretty familiar.

As a Jew, what I really would love to see is for Christianity to confirm that Jesus was killed by the Romans, not us. Only the Romans had any authority to order a death, and only the Romans ever used crucifixion. The NT was written largely for a Roman audience, so of course the blame for killing Jesus was switched from the Romans to the Jews.
Jesus was Jewish and was one of many radicals around at that time. His fellow Jews may not always have agreed with him, but had they wanted to get rid of him, there was a detailed procedure which would have involved going up before the judges, the sanhedrin. This did not happen.
I've heard Christians insist that the Jews somehow 'pressured' the Romans into killing Jesus - what a load of absolute drivel! The Romans oppressed the Jews and the last thing they would have done is grant requests!

not one of the above genuinely denies the Holocaust, purely states that the architects of Auschwitz "have been given away" with homicide on the trial. humorous issues ensue in courtroom, does not recommend they have been quite harmless; they only could not hint it decrease back to them. besides, is the guy who geared up your place to blame for each little thing that takes place in it, later? further, merely because of fact they have been aquitted does not recommend their crimes did not ensue. Illustrative occasion: A is killed, B is got here upon not in charge, A replaced into nonetheless killed.

I know! I wish those Medieval people had taken ONE look at the Bible they spread so much! I wish that the Romans would have looked at the Bible and see that they were prosecuting their God's own people!
Source(s): Atheist who accually read the Bible! OH NO!!! Its not possible!!! - Anonymous1 decade ago
"Force of arms" effectively evicted them in the year 70 AD, exactly as Jesus (that "poor" Jew) correctly predicted.
Jesus is the only true source of peace, and heaven remains the only true "homeland" for God's pilgrim people on earth, which is the authentic and universal church that Jesus personally founded and paid for, with his own life, on that cross, almost 2000 years ago.
With all due respect, isn't it about time the Jews (and everyone else) figured that out?

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ , unto another gospel
which is not another , but there are some that trouble you and would pervert the gospel of Christ
But though we , or an angel from Heaven preach any other gospel , let him be accursed

What is it about the Jews? They're always either killing people or getting killed.
One of the old excuses for persecuting Jews was they had killed Jesus Christ.
