What was the name of the bugs in Ernie's plants?

I watched Sesame street all my childhood and I remember my favourite characters were a family of crazy bugs who lived in Ernie's plant pot. I live in Spain, so I know these characters by the name they were given by the Spanish translators (Nabucodonosorcitos), but I would like to know what their original name in English was.

    Doodle Bugs. They were cute, I always loved the rare times they were on.
