do i need msn?
do i need to keep MSN on my computer or can i remove it to free up some space. will it affect operation? i have a '98 dell optiplex w/256mb and its slow as it is so every little bit of space helps. i run xp and yahoo as my home. i have never gone to MSN and have no desire to.

you can remove it .. there won't be any problem
go to
start
settings
control panel
add and remove windows components ( if you have the old messenger that comes with xp for default)
remove it there

No you don't NEED MSN for your computer.. if you're not using it and need space to free up for faster performance.. then yes remove it by going to the control panel.. then remove it from the list of programs on the "add or remove programs" program

MSN us not a necessity, delete it if you want.. it will not screw up your computer.
