Call your insurance company and find out. Also, look at your rental contract with the storage unit company and see what it says for theft. It may be covered by them.

aahhh Sharon, I am sorry. That is terrible.

First read the fine print on your agreement with the storage facility. They may have some responsibility. That usually depends on how secure the place is suppose to be though.

Next, call your insurance company. You never know unless you ask.

Hope you get insurance from one of these places.

Third, did you pay the rent on a credit card? Sometimes the card company insures things.

Did you have insurance on the storage unit?

I beleive that your homeowners insurance is just to cover your home. On the other hand if it was stolen from your house and

you file a police report stating so. Then you would'nt have a

    problem getting it covered.

It probably will, but that's a question for your insurance agent.
