How can stop e-mail messages from poping up..........?
on my computer screen? When I am on my IM and talking to someone and I get an e-mail it pops up in the bottom right hand corner of my screen and my IM signs out. It is very disturbing when you are trying to talk to someone and your IM signs out all on it's own. Is there anyway I can prevent that from happening?
Yes i know how to get to yahoo help, but I have reported this problen to yahoo at least a dozen times in the last month and yahoo is not smart enough to fix it. I figured there would be a computer greek on here that was smarter than yahoo help which gives you the same old form letter every time you report it.

at top of yahoo messenger
click messenger
preferences
alerts and sounds
and then unenable the alert when you receive mail
