Is this a good laptop for a 14 year old.?
This is for my 14 year old he will go on guild wars and internet and store music and photos and watch videos I would expand the ram to 2 gig of course. and I would most likely end up getting windows xp for vista premuim.

Well,if you want decent ,stable performance i would buy this and probably upgrade the RAM like u said.It will give you a better performance rate on your pc than usual.This pc wont be able to run guild wars real stable,but it will do well if your not looking for good GFX.It also comes with Windows vista basic and really,to tell u the truth I would recommend Premium.Its more used and better than the basic version.
So to my conclusion,get this pc and upgrade the RAM maybe.Let me tell u this,too this pc doesnt come with the Intel Core Duo 2 Processors either so performance is going to be slower than nowadays pcs out today.

If your parents buy you that then you have it made!!!!!!!!!!. I'm almost 13 in a week and I don't even know If I can have a cell phone
but that laptop is tight I'll give it an A+ it looks...proffesional

yes, not that a 14 year old needs one. He will love anything that has decent amount of space and access to the internet,

Their might not be enough memory, but it seems like a good fit for a 14-year-old.

yes,it is a very good laptop,i am 14 and am getting one to replace my 1.83GHZ apple macbook.which is falling apart
