Can Celtics win NBA final this year?

i dont think they can beat the spurs but they can definetly make the finals, i mean all they gotta do is get by Lebron who is a one man team and the pistons arent the team they used to be, the only challenge in the east is the magic

Can they get there, maybe, can they win, no. The west is just better. But seriously I won't be impressed until the Celtics do something in the playoffs. When Kevin Garnett proves not to be a playoff failure I'll pay attention. Ray Allen is a nice player but soft and what the heck has Paul Pierce ever done? Just becuase you have talent doesn't mean you work as a team and these guys have never been winners anywhere else. Kevin Garnett has one of the worst playoff records in the history of mankind. So until the make noise and the playoffs, I don't care what they do.

People that say the Celtics are going to win this year, lets see them when they challenge playoff contenders from the west, not $hit east teams that don't even come close to the 8th seed of the east.

Spurs or Mavs will wipe them out in 6 games, although they probably won't have to because the Celtics are not going to make it to the finals.

Of course they can cuz if they keep playing like this they might be undefeated the whole season even though spurs might be very very good this year celtics got 2 great allstars (kevin garnett and ray allen)and a soon to be allstar(paul pierce) other than the spurs they have no competition

first you talk funny. but of course they can challenge the big teams. they have 3 bonafide superstars and that can challenge anyteam anytime. lebron and howard will be mincemeat for them, and the pistons will be some trouble. but a 7-game series with any team in the nba is winnable for the celtics IF everybody stays healthy. then they are virtually guaranteed a win.

NEVER the Celtics will need god power to beat spurs , Dallas suns, cavilers or pistons the only people they can beat are the people ranked lower then them. Simple as that.

Well i think the Celtics will win the championship if they don't face San Antonio or Phoenix in the finals. but Boston does'nt have a deep bench unlike the Spurs and Suns.
