we were at a friends party and my bf had few drinks... and he kept telling me how much he loves me. he said will u marry me. and that he wants to start a family. do i believe him??

Bring up the subject of what he said when he was drunk. Ask him if it was the drink talking or if he really means it.Do it in a jokey way, like, do you know what you said to me last night? We usually tend to let our true feeling come out when we have had a drink, so you never know.

He wants to get married to you, but I don't think that was a formal proposal. Ask him again when he's sober.

People do say that men usually say this stuff cause in their subconcious mind... they want it but when they are sane they don't want it cause they still don't want to be tied down.
