Why can't I access all the images from my SD card onto my computer?
Hiya, I'm trying to download all the images from my new Canon IXUS 75 and I although I can preview some of the images on the actual camera itself, when it comes to downloading them, they will not appear on my PC.
Would you know what I am doing wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

i don't have that kind of camera, but if you answer a few more questions, maybe we can help....
do you remove the memory card/stick/whatever from the camera and insert it into a slot on the pc/laptop or do you use a cable to connect the two?
in general, if you loaded any software that came with the camera onto the computer, it should make that happen with little extra work from you.
if you're plugging an SD card into a slot or adapter on your computer, your computer may need to "recognize" the card as a new peripheral. on my pc, running Windows XP, you might need to run the "add new hardware wizard" or reboot your machine so it recognizes the card.
in addition, even if the card shows up under "my computer", the photo files may be in a subfolder or down a level or two that you need to open to see them. they probably won't just show up all lined up for you, but you need to drill down a few levels to see them.
hope that helps.

Well your either your computer is corrupt or your memory card or even your camera. I bet its either your computer or your memory card my advice is to get a new memory card or try downloadiing your images onto a different computer.
Then maybe if its your camera you could upgrade it

They are going into "my pictures" or the canon cd program.
Look around and you will find them.
