Is the Big 10 even better then the WAC?

I'd say probably not. The Big 10 played noone all year.. lost games anyways.. looked bad in conference play and keep getting by div 1AA teams

I think you forgot about Minnesota NOT getting by North Dakota State, and we all know Appy State by now. Too bad Michigan wouldnt schedule Hawaii this year. ESPN said they wouldnt play Hawaii and scheduled in Appy State instead. It ended up embarassing for Michigan but perhaps not as bad as playing Hawaii, why is that? The Wac hasnt had so many teams dropping games to Div. 1AA teams, so it shows either a bias or an appearance of being scared of Hawaii. If they are afraid of Hawaii, They definately arent better than the WAC.

Yes, there are 2 good teams in the WAC and one of them is over rated. I would say there is one good team, Hawaii. First off, Boise State was great last year. I rooted for them, it was a lot of fun seeing them pull off the upset. But this year they have a total of 3 teams on their schedule with a record above .500, and have 2 losses. What does that say about the quality of Boise State. Hawaii is playing good, and I believe they deserve a BCS game, and can win. But they have only played 2 teams with a record above .500, once again not to impressive. The overall record for the Wac 47-52 (.475) is and the Big Ten is 79-53 (.599). In the only match up between the two conferences, Northwestern beat Nevada. Finally, the Wac has 3 teams that are bowl eligible, while the Big Ten has 10.

Take the time to review a few stats from the team that leads the Big 10.

    1) Ohio State has spent more weeks at #1 then any SEC, Big 12, etc has ever had.

    2) Since the year 2000 Ohio State has had more players drafted in the NFL draft.

Now that you have some history of the game, come with a better question.

    No they are not

The big 10 should be renamed the Hellen Keller conference of the blind.

Yes they are popular but no they are not good.

Look at their nonconference record. They were horrid against quality teams when they played them which was only twice

The big 10 went 0-2 in big games.

  • Hawaii and Boise St. would go about .500 in the Big 10.

Wow, you guys are hilarious. Let me guess, you're mighty SEC fans. LSU is #1! Oh wait, they lost to an unranked team just like everyone else. I can't believe I actually just wasted 20 seconds of my life answering this question.
