Snowboard question?

When do I know when my board needs to be re-waxed?

I ride a Never Summer System. I've ridden it 1 season (just learned last year) about 10-15 times... It has never been waxed except for the factory wax.

You should wax your board whenever the base starts to look white. That means it is dry and needs wax. Normally a good hot wax will last 5-10 times. So your board is overdue for a good waxing. I probably waxed my board 10 times last season. Your board will last longer, and you'll find it is much easier to turn, when your board always has a good wax job on it.

I wax my board at the Start of every snowboard season and midway through. Waxing usually cost about 10$ so its not exspensive and makes your board noticablly smoother/faster!

I learned to ski back in 1969 when I was four and skied for another 20 years... I tried snowboarding in 1998 and it just didn't feel right, so I went back to skis.
