Bad front end suspension?

I drive a 1993 Dodge Dakota LE Ext. Cab 2WD with 5.2. When i hit the brakes to slow down/ stop a loud popping noise occurs and it doesnt when Im not on the brakes. Even with the brakes applied and going over bumps it gets more consistet. It sounds like its coming from right front end. I replaced Pads, Calipers. I also had all new shocks put on last year and replaced tie rod end on rt. side as well due to cracked boot. I had to replace left sd rotor should I have replaced rt side as well? Lets just say it sounds like something is deffinitely worn/broke! Even when brakes are applied the wheel gets harder to turn as well...when i replaced tie rod end i didnt get an alignment. I know if i were to go and do it they would tell me somethins broke and charge me 300$ to fix it but maybe at least they woulld tell me what it is cause I dont know. Any input is greatly appreciated!!!!

you could possibly have caliper trying to stick on it or a bad wheel bearing on it,on those you always replace both calipers and rotors if ones bad then replace both of them it makes the stopping power more even on it,you may want go over all of this and recheck what was done, pay close attention to any front end parts such as ball joints also, those did give problems with ball joints, also re-check the cv joints, with having a bad boot on it there's a possibility it might have been without grease for too long, check anything that has to do with the front end or have a shop check it,good luck on it.

    Come on people, it's a 2wd, IT DOESN'T HAVE A CV JOINT!!!

I'm thinking it's gonna be a ball joint or upper control arm bushings...I'd pay a small inspection fee to find out what it is, them pay them to fix it...dabbling in auto repair when not being able to figure out what you've described as a nasty/unsafe noise is a recipe for disaster.

you shoulda gotten both rotors new at the same time. you wouldnt just buy a left shoe would you? you want the pair.

It sounds like your CV joint is broken again. You need to get it replaced.
