Which hotel is better-- Luxor or New York, New York?

Luxor definitely has a younger crowd than New York New York. It also has a really good club (called RA). Not sure if it will be warn enough but Luxor also has a better pool. I'd stay there if I were you. But take the walk over the NY NY to check out the Coyote Ugly bar.

I have stayed in almost every hotel in Vegas and if I had to choose between the two I would pick the Luxor. Eventhough they are across the street from each other, I would take the Luxor over New York, New York any day! It was my fave until I stayed at the Monte Carlo.

new york new york has a more central location so its easy to walk around the strip. Luxor is right by mandalay bay, where the spice girls show is, and theres a free tram that leaves between the two hotels every few minutes. The luxor is on the southern end of the strip,. i'd recommend staying at new york new york where your near more hotels. New york new york is a little more of a younger, relaxed crowd too.

Luxor is definitely the better place for what you are looking for. Club Ra is no longer there. It has been replaced by LAX Nightclub, which is currently the hootest club in Vegas with all of the celebrities there on a nightly basis. You are sure to have fun because Luxor is filled with the party atmoshphere you are looking for.

NYNY is nice, but from your question, it doesn't seem like you want to party at the ESPN Zone or Cayote Ugly.

without question NY, NY......prettier people , better service ((roller coaster..sorry big fan)) just all around a notch up from Luxor in my opinion..((not as many little kids)))

Luxor is a pyramid and has a night life for your generation plus gaming. NYNY is small but has fantastic rooms. Since you can walk from one to the other in minutes, check out their web sites for the best deal but do NOT use hotel.com

I like NY NY a little better just because of the location but both hotels are good and about the same in category

Flip a coin. I've stayed at both a couple times each and I like both. IMO - the bartenders at NYNY are better in general if that matters. =)

NYNY for sure. I stayed there my first time and it was cool. NYNY is probably the neatest hotel on the strip. You won't be disappointed.
