How much for an mp3 player/ipod used for music and podcasts?

How much do I have to spend to get a reliable one ? What features don't I get if I get a cheap one ? I'll just be using it for podcasts and music. I don't want to spend more than I absolutely have to. Thanks !

Prices are all over the map on this one. It counts on many factors: capacity being a big one, video/pictures being another. You have to better define what you want. If you want a 2GB player, you can get a full featured Creative Zen V refurbished model from the manufacturer for $45

    I got a 30GB Zen M, you can get a refurb there for $120.

I'd say about 200$ I have an ipod nano and you cant watch videos just music and podcasts. SO I really enjoy my nano it's 2nd Generation. The only feature you wouldn't get would be the ability to watch videos. (music & Movies & TV shows)

The Nanos can hold up to 1000 songs and you can store contacts, and memos for yourself. The battery lasts for about 8 hours. so enjoy your ipod!

the ipod nano is perfect prob 150-200 but the less memory you get the cheaper..and you don't really need much memory or you can just get the ipod shuffle which is basically the same with out a screen though
