What's different about the Nintendo DS Lite?

Reasons to go for the DS Lite:

It's smaller, weighs less and has a compact shape.

The microphone is in the middle between the two screens instead of at the bottom, making it much more practical.

DS lite is much better because the screen is much more bright. Also, it has a smaller size so it can fit in your pocket as opposed to the fat old one!!! Get the Lite!!!

i have both, and i strongly incourage ppl to buy the new one

the old one is big and clunky, while the new one is slick and small. also the screen is much brighter.

well...the ds lite is smaller,brighter, and has a bigger stylus

whichever you choose i say either is ok

do lite its smaller and it does not play nitendo advanced games

buy the original if u dont care about looks but if u like looks over price get the lite.

got the origina l on by birthday (same day it came out!) but i wont get the lite unless this 1 breaks

Ok. I own the old one and my sisters have the lite. i don't love mine but, it does have it's pros. I liket the lite better cuz, it has a righter screen and it is smaller and more compact. but the LITE DOESN"T PLAY GAMEBOY ADVACNE GAMES!!!
