is the ipod's touch wi-fi connection free?
im thinking about getting one for christmas and i really need to know details. i know it costs for the iphone but i dont think it does for the ipod touch bc its a wifi connection as opposed to internet for at&t.

You are right for the most part, wi-fi is free at places like your home, office, hotels, libraries and stuff, But airports, starbucks and places there is a paid hotspot from t-mobile, or another one that is very widely covered is www.boingo.net
Check those out. But ATT doesn't charge you anything for using Wi-Fi
