    A magnet can prove it is NOT aluminum but it can not prove it IS aluminum. A magnet proves it is steel if it sticks but it could be copper, brass, plastic or wood if the magnet does not stick. (yes I am being a bit facetious to make my point).

    Try a magnet. If the door is aluminum, a magnet should not stick to it.

    All 3 so far are right ....magnet test....after reading your Q again ,are you asking if it's plastic ,or,aluminum ?

    Most fridge doors are made of steel which is magnetic if it is made of aluminium a magnet will not stick to it
