I have a question about an informal court hearing.?
I live in Michigan and was just wondering what I should expect from this informal hearing. Do you have any tips or suggestions. I had gotten a ticket for driving through a private drive to miss a traffic signal. It looked bad to the cop but that wasnt the reason why i went through the drive. I could have made the light to take the turn anyway. I was politwe to the cop while he gave the ticket and then I wrote a letter to the courts. what should i do or expect? ask any questions you may have.

I think its a petty issue, but you have a right under the "rule of law" to put your point forward and the authorities are bound to listen to you and give you a hearing (whether in Court or outside) . I would suggest you should put your point and get out of it.
