Madlib is not underrated, just because he is in the underground doesn't mean he isn't noticed. Same with 9th Wonder.

Who said he was underrated he has had huge commercial success and has worked with the most popular people in the game ie. jay-z. I wouldn't consider him highly underrated. He's one of the top producers in the game . I think the producers who are underrated are alchemist, havoc, eminem(as a producer), and many others that i cant think of right now.

He's not underrated in my opinion. He started out doing tracks for mainly east coast acts(Jay-Z, Memphis Bleek, Diddy, Busta Rhymes, Fabolous, etc). As his stock rose, he's done tracks for artists all over(The Game, T.I., Ludacris, etc). 9th Wonder to me is underrated. He's done tracks for Jay-Z and a host of others. It's too bad he and Little Brother split up. The Minstrel Show was a critically acclaimed CD, but it didn't get the airplay it should of.

no i dont think so he is one of the most respected and decorated producers out right now. hes had commercial success, but his beats are still sick.

you named some pretty dope producers, oddisee, blackmilk, exile (his beats are bomb, just listen to blu or emanon), i havent heard much of marco polo's stuff, but the songs ive heard are alright (any suggestions?)

some dudes you didnt mention are nujabes, fat jon, j rawls (of lone catalysts), ohmega watts, and hocus pocus (its a group from france i think, i dont know who makes the beats for them, but i like it)

I have to agree with the Kid that said the Beat Minerz are underated. Enta Da Stage still gets rotation in my hoopty....

just blaze isnt underrated for me, he's like the one of the most popular producers... almost everybody gets at least one JB track on their album.

under rated producers for me would be:

battlecat (westsiiiide)

dj quik (a lot of people just know him for rapping)

daz dillinger (he did most of all eyez on me and people just know him for dogg pound. btw kurupt is wack)
