What is the average size of a photo taken on the 2 megapixel camera on the Nokia N70?
I have a Nokia N70. The pictures i take using the 2 megapixel camera have an average size of 300-400KB (highest quality). I noticed that my friend who owns a Nokia 6630 (with a 1.3 megapixel camera) has pictures with an average size of 500KB. I have taken pictures, using both phones, of the same object under the same lighting conditions and noticed this. No photo editing software has been used. Is something wrong with my camera? I was under the impression that the higher the Megapixels, the larger the size of photos. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...

yes, a higher image size often creates higher file sizes, but compression must also be considered.
if your buds phone compresses the image more then your phone, the file will be smaller.
