The General Electric Corporation is paying the female engineers in entry level positions $28,000 a year. The male engineers in entry level positions are paid $35,000 a year. Last year 5 male and 1 female engineers were promoted. What could GE be charged with if the engineers all had the same qualifications? In your opinion, should the male engineers do anything? Explain.
