Here are a couple of the most popular I have heard as a hairdresser. Real mayonnaise is a fantastic conditioner. Not the spreadable salad dressing, only real mayonnaise contains the right ingredients for conditioning hair.
MAYO AS CONDITIONER:
Before washing your hair, condition it with a generous amount of mayonnaise. Dampen hair and apply mayonnaise as you would apply a conditioner. Cover your hair with plastic wrap, and cover your head with a bath towel. Allow the mayonnaise to deeply condition your hair for thirty or forty minutes, rinse your hair with warm water, and wash your hair as usual.
MAYO AND AVOCADO
You can also add advocado to the mayo. Put a small jar of real mayonnaise and half of an avocado in a bowl and a fork smash with fork. Mix together until they are smooth. Apply the creamy mixture to your unwashed hair. ( Skip roots if hair tends to be oily or fine/limp) Then place a plastic shower cap on your head. Leave the mixture on your hair for 20-30 minutes.
BEER:
Rinsing with warm flat beer leaves hair slightly conditoned and more managable.
WATERCRESS CONDITIONER:
In a blender or food processor, combine half a cup of watercress and one cup of water. Blend until smooth. Boil on stove for ten minutes. Use a strainer to strain out the watercress, then let the watercress-infused liquid completely cool.
Apply the watercress liquid to clean hair. You can use your hands, or lean over the sink or tub and pour the liquid directly over your head. Leave the conditioner in your hair for 20 minutes. Rinse well.
BANNANA AND OLIVE OIL CONDITIONER:
Mash one banana with 2 TBSP. of olive oil until smooth. Apply generously throughout your hair. Cover with a shower cap or plastic wrap and allow to sit for 20-30 minutes. Follow-up with a shampoo and rinse.
ROSEMARY CONDITIONER:
*Good for dandruff also
Add 2-5 drops of rosemary essential oil with 1 teaspoon of carrier oil of your choice, blend well. Work the oils through dampened hair and massage the scalp. Wrap your head in a warm towel and leave on for 45 minutes to deep condition the hair. Wash out and rinse with cool water
BANANNA OLIVE OIL CONDITIONER:
1 banana, mashed
1 tablespoon sunflower oil
1/2 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
Mix together in blender until smooth. Apply to hair for 30 min. Rinse and shampoo with mild baby shampoo.

mayonaise. Seriously nothing works better. Just be sure to keep it in the fridge, never wear it to bed. Wear it as a mask for 1 to 30 min- works wonders!
Other ingredients such as egg, vinegar, beer also work pretty good on hair.
