    A=area , D=diameter

    A=(3.14*D^2)/4

    D=11.8cm A=(3.14*11.8^2)/4=109.36 cm^2

    A=109.36 cm^2 * 10^(-4)(m^2)/(cm^2)=0.0109 m^2

    You need Pie (cant find it on my keyboard) R squared. Where R is the radius.

    Use the the value in cm to get cm2 and m to get m2

    109.35cm2

    0.011m2
