Using the GIMP(prefrerably) or Photoshop, can someone tell me how to scale down an image without it becoming pixilated? Thanks!

    In photoshop go to File>New then input the size of the image that you want ex.(500x500) then open your source file that you want to resize and use the move tool or Edit>Copy then go back to your newly created file and Edit>Paste then go to Edit>Free transform and drag out the corners to fit the size of your image then press Enter. You're Done!

    In Photoshop go to Image>Image Size and give us the Length, Width and Resolution and we can go from there.
