be his listener, his guidance, his buddy, and his soul mate. go find out everything about him and you never know what you might find.

Make this a journey for yourself. Not in a detective sort of way, but the person who wants to understand, trust, support him in every way. building up friendship takes time especially between opposite sex.

well when i was younger i couldnt date cause of my parents too but i got away with it cause i let the guy know about my parents rules and he was ok with not being able to act like bf and gf in front of them so we just acted like friends when we were around them. sometimes being honest with the parents can help. if they understand that ur responsible enough and wont do anything stupid they might just give you a chance at proving ur old enough to have a bf. if you want to let him know u like him the best way to do it is to be honest. what i do is i talk to them and explain that i dont want to make things weird but what to let them know that i like them. i say that i dont want things to change if he doesnt feel the same way but that i just wanted to be completely honest with them. usually that works and if the guy isnt interested things dont change with our friendship. good luck.
