What program do I use to open .cbz or .cbr files?
I just downloaded a bunch of different comic books (pirating, yarr!) that are pretty hard to find, but they're all those mysterious file types! Any help is appreciated, thanks.

For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/ax2z6
They are just renamed rar and zip files (compressed archives) that you can open up with Winzip, WinRAR, 7-zip, etc. But you probably don't want to open them so much as view the comics inside. You should use a comics viewer. Google helps in finding them, but I'll give you the name of one I have installed. Google for CDisplay. It opens up the cbr and cbz files and displays the comics.

This is a renamed .ZIP file and can be decompressed with any .ZIP file utility. The CDisplay program displays the comic book images so it is useful to use for this particular .ZIP archive type.
if you don't have a software to open .Zip file
go to
http://www.altools.net/Default.aspx
and download ALZip v7.0 beta 1
it free , easy to use , powerful , and very cute
