Sigh.
There goes the most questionned theme of humanity as a whole. What's the point of living you ask?
Your argument is that " we come in the world unnoticed, and leave the same way ". That is a very self-centered proposition. How about, self-recognition?
There is beauty in the world, and each of us pictures it differently. Instead of hoping to be noticed, try finding yourself through gratitude and discovery. Find your values, cherish life, appreciate the moments... because in the end, it's what truly counts.
We live for the " these moments ", the moments that make you smile and ponder, the moments that take your breath away, the moments that fill your very essence.
Of course, it's easier to forget about all the greatness in life, when we're only focussing on our individual problems. If you can't make a difference in the world, make a difference with yourself, as one person.
Today, this day, is beautiful.
Take it like you wish.

You only leave unnoticed, unless you notice that you have done something in life, I believe many people miss out on the truth about what their life means, and what it means to others. It isn't about building huge empires, those usually all fall down and get corrupted. It isn't about being super spiritual either, that is just pride and vain.
It is about learning how to love, and once you understand this statement - you'll see it all around you - your family, friends, Bibical and other scripture teachings, all point to love, everything does if you look at it - when we serve someone even in a fast food restraunt we tend to enjoy it if we do it out of kindness not obligation.
The love we learn isn't just for a spouse, or God even, it is what all humankind has in common: We all need, and seek, and desire love, and we learn how to love other humans as ....well HUMANS!?
We learn that if we pass another in pain on the street, we too feel their pain without even knowing what is wrong, because we know how they feel. We can understand someone in another land, with another language, and listen to their foreign words about how they lost their child and their husband, and we can cry with her and know exactly why she is hurt. It isn't all that difficult really, just we have to look passed ourselves a lot of times, and stop being selfish, other wise your statement is true - we leave the world the same way (and by the way, we change the world everyday if we want, it just doesnt have to be THE world, but our world :) ). That is what Jesus really wanted, is for us to love others and Him, and ourselves. (If your Christian and or spiritual this should mean a lot to you, even if your not it still lets you learn and shows you something).
By the way ...no ones life is every useless and unimportant :D

The point is that everything we say and do effects someone or something in some way and has an effect on the outcome of others lives as well as future generations.
The things you do today that seem small and insignificant may influence someone else in such a way that helps them to do something that benefits many other people.
On the other hand even the small things we do can also have an adverse effect on others and help contribute to something that is detrimental to many others.
Our actions and choices have a greater impact on our lives and the lives of others than we realize at times. Everything is relevant, everything has purpose, and it all works for the greater good.

I am God dreaming I am 'you', without the powers of God Almighty. I am enjoying myself playing a game called Life with unexpected twists and turns, that's what makes it interesting. What will happen next?
You live so short a time and go through so much, like a dream it is over very quickly although it seems to take a life time while you are living this dream. One day you will wake up, being me, only then will you really know what the point was. Meanwhile have fun, grow, get smarter, cause when you get 'here' we are going to kick some angel's butts for the crap we went through when we were alive.

all the moments along the way and the joy of finding out what life will bring. And in reality you are not unnoticed. everybody's life touches so many different people. I bet you dont even know how many lives your life has touched. So you have to keep on living so you can bring what you have to offer into the world.

I used to think like you until I realized that I can do things that matter and that will make a difference in the world. If I can do it so can you. It is really something that you have to decide that you want to do. There is great reward in it for you and the people or things that you help to change. You can make a difference.
As for the point of it. This life is a dress rehearsal for eternity. Where you spend it is completely up to you. God wants you to spend it with him since he loves you and created you for His pleasure. There is no way for you to earn His love, so, He has made a provision for you in His son Jesus Christ. Seek Him, for all who seek , find, all who knock, the door shall be opened to them.
Seek Him, and He will help you to make a difference if you just ask Him to come into your heart.

Live fast.
Die young.
Who cares.
I'm being serious.
The "real world" is a bunch of b**lsh*t.
I mean, honestly...do you want to be sold into slavery for the rest of your life (working in some mundane career till you *might* be able to retire).
Or even if you become sucessful and your job pays a lot of money, who needs the stress. Very few of us have the ideal, cushy job with short hours and a fat salary.
And who wants to be burdened with the marriage-and-babies stuff?
Chances are, if you're a guy, she'll divorce you and take the kids and a lot of whatever earnings and assets you'll have. Say goodbye to your friends, fun and free time, because you'll pretty much *have* to have a decent job these days to support your children. And, even in modern, enlightened society, you are still expected to be the breadwinner and the strong, stoic mature one.
And if you're a girl, you'll be spending nine months in discomfort, changing your body into a distended blob, only to have this period end in extreme pain - and the result is: a crying little pink thing that demands your time, and money, for the next 18 years and beyond.
I'm not advocating suicide, but my advice is have fun now. Hella fun.
You can't do it later.

Because, if everyone my Dad has ever hired to talk to me is right, then there is life after death, whether it be heaven, or hell, or some thing much different. And you'll still have your memories when you get there, and you wanna be able to look back and smile, and think about how many friends you made smile, and think about how many enemies you made cry. You want your chest to swell with pride that you had the courage to get through life, and raised hell like no one before.

if smeone loves you then you are worth the while not just a guy or girl but your parents or siblings or just a friend.
if you have a job you are making a differnece to the world even if it is a small difference
if you help charity you make a difference even if it is just giving a shirt to good will you dont need to orginize fundraisers or anything.
if you have a friend and your leading them in the right direction then you also make a difference you are putting your self into a problem that people have when they think they are worthless... everyone matters!

The impact made on others may not go noticed by you but it will go noticed by ones you do affect.
You have the capacity for a great deal of good. It is your decision whether it happens or not in your lifetime.
An analogy??? Think of a pebble dropped in a pond and the wavefront reaching the opposite shore.
How about the "butterfly effect"?
