Shankar's Adwaitwad has become more popular than the Veda's concept of TRAITWAD. WHY ?

    Adwaita and traita are both based on vedas.Sankara is the the exponent of adwaita based on the MAHAVAKYA : TAT TWAM ASI, AHAM BRAHMASMI.Sankara is not the originator of adwaita.

    Sankara has travelled all over india challenging all scholars in evrry "sadas" , established the supremacy of adwaita and established 4 ashramas in 4 corners of india.Hence adwaita became very popular.
