Dual Video Dual monitor question?
If I have dual GeForce 8800 Ultras in dual-monitor configuration (NOT in SLI Mode) and I start a game in windowed mode on one monitor -- what happens if I drag the game to the second monitor (Which would be controlled by the other 8800 Ultra)? Would the resources be passed to the other card, and the other card start processing?
Additionally, what would happen if the second video card was an old slow PCI card (i.e. an old S3 Virge or Matrox)?

Unless they are in SLI mode your computer is only going to run one video card at a time. If your monitors are on different video cards then the card your computer is running is processing the information and then sending it through the other card.

i myself does not mess with a series-up like that throughout my opinion. i'm unlikely to describe why, yet I even have the radeon 9200 which I even have had for years. this card has 128meg memory on it and you will hook up 2 video exhibit contraptions and additionally a television on the comparable time. it additionally has many different enter output applications for it. this way of card might artwork relatively properly for you. the take care of onboard video is that it makes use of the device memory the place the avg card has its own on the cardboard.
