What's going on with me?

I had a D and C on September 6th, 2007. My first period after that was October 30th. I should have started Wednesday. I know it hasn't been very many days, but I still haven't started. i have taken tests and they all have said negative. I am also having a sharp pain in my lower left abdomen. I am not consitpated or anything like that. Do these two things have anything to do with each other? Please help! Thanks!! Only Serious helpful answers please.

Update:

The pain isn't like cramps. It is more of a sharp and isolated pain.

Please see your gynecologist as soon as you can.

you may or may not be ready to have your period.

however, the sharp pain may very well be related to your D&C. it could be scar tissue building up, or an infection setting in.

however, your health is not to be toyed with, and only a professional can tell you if it's serious.

If the pain is too much to stand, you might want to go to the hospital, hun. I've never had a D and C, I just had a miscarriage about 2 months ago and my last period was pretty painful... I still went to the doc to make sure everything was ok, they gave me some meds, like aspirin and told me to take it easy... but seeing how you had a D and C, you might just want to go see the Doc if your pain is too unbearable... just to be on the safe side...

Good luck and sorry about the lose... I know what it feels like.

The sharp pain could be cramping, due to your period is going to start soon. If the pain gets untolerable, call your doctor.

How can you go from D to C in such a short period of time? That doesn't sound normal.

I would go to the doctor.
