SLI question?

Will any motherboard with two pci-e x16 handle two SLI capable video cards? Or does it only work with certain boards?

Asking b/c I just got an HP m8200n. It has the slots available, but I don't want to buy the two cards and it not work.

thanks

They will work fine, I would worry the cards fit inside the case AND the power supply meets their requirements.
