How do I get more members for my Small Business Community Forum?

Hey everyone. I recently created a small business / work at home community forum at http://www.companydreams.com./ It targets those who seek to create their own business, those who have a business willing to share their ideas, and those who seek to learn paid surveys, selling on ebay, paid per click, freelancing, and many other online profit opportunities. I have already submitted the forum to search engines, as well as tried a few affiliate links. We already have a few great members and a growing community, but I am unsure what else to do to promote it. I am currently using both google Adwords and yahoo SearchMarket.

Please share some advice and feel free to PM me on the forum with any feedback. The forum can be found at http://www.companydreams.com/

Thank you everyone

People have to have a really good reason to come because there are already so many small business online networks including large sites like www.ryze.com that's loaded with them.

So you have to offer something that's a little different or better than the next guy. You have to offer something that makes it worth their while to click away from their favorite networking site and over to you.

I suggest you go to sites where people enjoy online networking and they are business owners. Contribute to their threads and then at the bottom of each post you add a PS with a pithily worded invite and a link to your network.

Blog and ping your blog at http://www.pingomatic.com/ to increase traffic. At your blog tell people about the network.
