So, are there any other law students playing on Y!A instead of studying for their contracts finals?

I've made my outlines, learned the cases, and done a whole bunch of practice exams. My first mid-term is on Thursday. Should I be more worried than I am? I know the material, and I know how to apply it...I'm not in a panic like my friends...should I be?

Update:

Yes, we had actual mid-terms in October (some counted, some didn't). This is our final for the semester...to be continued in Spring. I really messed up on October midterms 'cause I hadn't figured out how to write a law school exam. My profs were kind enough to look at some practice test answers that I wrote and critique them, so I feel much more confident this go 'round.

Thanks for the attitude boosts!

    Don't forget consideration.

Law school exams are all about issue spotting. Everyone will know the elements. You need to be calm and read each question thoroughly to spot subtle issues.

Have you taken a real law school exam yet? If not, that explains this question. You should be worried. Maybe not obsessively studying, but worried. You cannot be over-prepared for a law school exam. Graded on a curve means that even if you know everything about a question, if someone else writes it better they get the A.

Also, you have mid-terms? That rocks! We only have finals.

And yes, I'm not studying currently. I'm taking a lunch/internet break.

You should not be worried -- my big 1L mistake was getting bogged down by too much studying and too many study techniques. Relax and have fun!
