what is the specialist field name for a dr. that deals with the brain?

I myself just had a brainfart... i'm stressed out because i have an extreamely urgent matter in regard to my loved one. They are having a mri scan of the brain today.... far, far, away... and then see this............specialist dr. to get the results and recommendations. oops..... yes, it's vetran related!!!!!

In great need of prayers please and thank you in advance.

    More than likely, the Doc is a Neurologist who specializes in the nervous system, which is a major part of the brain, along with the spinal column. Why is this test being performed ? You mentioned that this person is a veteran . it is obvious that something serious is happening based on your request for "prayer ". I will have this person in my prayers that he/she improves and that there is nothing too serious that cannot be treated. God Bless to you and your loved one !

    i think the specialists name is a neurologist or something not exactly sure of the spelling like that Nero referring to the center of the nerves aka:the brain
